2. Data processed when you use the website
When the website is requested, technical connection data such as IP address, request time, requested address, browser information and error information may be processed to deliver the service securely and reliably. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Accounts and sign-in
If you register, we process the contact and account details you provide, authentication information, and technical session data. This is necessary to create and manage your account and provide the requested service (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
If you choose Google sign-in, Google receives the information required to perform authentication and sends us the permitted account details. Google’s own privacy terms apply to its processing.
4. Backlink listings and performance data
We process the company name, domain, category, description and other information you submit. Published listing data is visible to anyone and may be indexed by search engines. We count directory impressions and outbound link clicks so account holders can review listing performance. These counts are aggregated for the relevant listing and day.
5. External content and services
We use Google Fonts to load the Inter typeface. A connection to Google may be established when the website loads. We also request website icons from Google’s favicon service using the submitted domain. Google may receive technical request data, including the requesting IP address.
The application uses contracted hosting, database and authentication infrastructure to store and process the data required for the service. Providers act under applicable data-protection agreements where required.
6. Storage on your device
Technically necessary browser storage and session information are used to keep you signed in and maintain essential interface settings. We do not use these mechanisms for third-party advertising.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep account and listing data while it is needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or protect legitimate interests. You can remove a listing from your dashboard or contact us to request account deletion. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it.
8. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future.
